An avid needleworker since twelve, I enjoy spending my down time knitting and crocheting for my family. Although this site contains pieces made with acrylic yarns, I love working with natural fibers. Having had my own alpacas, I learned to spin to fully enjoy the beginning-to-end experience.

My husband, Kip, and I have spent a lot of time singing in nursing homes and adult care centers. I noticed a need for homemade items that could be warm and useful, but also fun and lovely. Therefore, the lapghans and shawls here are made washable for heavy-duty washer use and smaller for laps and shoulders of the immobile. Also, because they are not expensive, more than one is affordable for the changing of the seasons or just for fun. As this site generates credibility and popularity, I hope to include more lovely pieces with the use of the natural fiber selections.
